The Graduate Certificate in Documentary Media Studies is proud to present its eleventh annual festival of original short films made by students in the class of 2017.

Each work is the result of a year of intensive study in documentary cinema — production, history and theory — by students from around the world, including Brazil, Iran, Venezuela, Germany, Canada and the U.S. Hosted by Deanna Kamiel, director of the Doc Studies program at The New School. Screenings will be followed by a faculty-led Q & A with the filmmakers. Admission is free and open to the public.
